BLDG 61: From Pulp to Paper: A Hands-On Papermaking Experience In-Person

Learn how to make beautiful handmade sheets of paper. This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the craft of western papermaking.

Attendees will:

  • Learn how to create pulp from recycled materials

  • Practice using moulds and deckles to form sheets

  • Experiment with pouring colors on to the newly formed sheets

  • Leave with several pieces of handmade paper.

This workshop is suitable for all skill levels. No prior experience necessary. Registration Required.

This class will be at the BLDG 61 Makerspace in the Main Library. Here are directions and parking information for the Main Library. Our Makerspace classes often have long waitlists.
