STUDIO 24: Light It Up!

STUDIO 24: Light It Up! In-Person

Have you ever wondered how electricity works? In this workshop, young inventors will build their own circuits using copper tape, LEDs, and batteries. Through hands-on experiments, participants will discover how electricity flows, why polarity matters, and what materials are capable of conducting electricity. This workshop is taught by Ruhan Yang, a PhD student at the ATLAS Institute at CU Boulder and designer of educational toys and tools.

This workshop is most appropriate for lower elementary school-aged learners, ages 5-9.

If you are an adult caregiver or parent, please register just your child (or children) for the workshop. You do not need to complete a registration form for yourself. Adult caregivers and parents are invited and encouraged to participate alongside children, and at least one adult must be present to accompany their child in the makerspace.
