Boulder History is LGBTQ+ History In-Person
Join us for an evening of reflection on how LGBTQ+ history and Boulder history are one and the same at the Carnegie Library for Local History. The evening will start with a short presentation on how LGBTQ+ history is recorded, presented, and found in historical documentation. Following the presentation, a panel discussion of professionals from various disciplines in the presentation, research, and preservation of history will discuss resources for LGBTQ+ history in Boulder, what can be improved in collecting and presenting LGBTQ+ history in Boulder, and the importance of recognizing that LGBTQ+ history is and has always been part of the History of Boulder and Boulder County.
