The La Camera Concert Series Presents: Elisa Garcia Quartet: Journey Through Latin America In-Person
The Elisa Garcia Quartet plays Latin American folk songs from Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela, down to Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay. Go on a journey through Latin America through rhythms like huapango, boleros, cumbias, zambas, and candombes. The Uruguayan singer/guitarist is accompanied by her husband, Mexican percussionist Leo Munoz-Corona, renowned Venezuelan pianist, Victor Mestas, and Grammy nominated bassist, Gonzalo Teppa.
