STUDIO 24: Sashiko Mending

STUDIO 24: Sashiko Mending In-Person

Learn to mend your clothing via the Japanese art of modern sashiko embroidery. We'll discuss the historical and cultural context, explore different patterns, techniques for making your stitches even and using templates to transfer our patterns onto fabric. Have something you want to mend? Bring it to the class and we'll see how sashiko can be used. All materials will be provided. Registration required.
