Summer of Discovery Kickoff: Ocean Party and Parade In-Person
Celebrate National Ocean Month, Reef Awareness Day, Pride, and the Summer of Discovery with crafts, face painting, a mermaid parade and the movie Luca. Come out for all or part of the activities. Sea creature dress up is encouraged.
- Noon - 2 p.m. Face painting by Leah of Face Fiesta in the Mt. Sanitas Room
- 12:15 p.m. Special Mermaid Storytime
- 12:30 - 1:45 p.m. Ocean-themed crafting and bubbles in the Children's Storytime Space
- 1:15 p.m. Special Mermaid Storytime
- 1:45 p.m. Mermaid Parade through the library to the Canyon Theater
- 2 - 4 p.m. Snacks and movie in the Canyon Theater for our Film Social: Luca, rated PG, 2021 ‧ Family/Fantasy ‧ 1h 35m
