STUDIO 24: Quick Pickling, Canning, and Preserving In-Person
You will learn all you need to know to start canning at home with step-by-step instructions and demonstration. The class will cover canning at high altitudes, canning and preserving using low-sugar and alternative sweeteners, and being creative with your canned goods. You will learn how to can safely, and will take home recipes to use as a jumping off point for putting up the summer's bounty for years to come. Presented by Growing Gardens. Age 14+, Registration required.
DIY Studio
Boulder Public Library presents DIY Studio in STUDIO 24! Over the course of four months, this program series invites makers to increase their own agency. DIY Studio equips makers with the hands-on skills and confidence needed to tackle gardening, home repair, cooking, mending, electronics and more. DIY Studio will empower you to do-it-yourself!
This class will be at the STUDIO 24 Makerspace in the NoBo Library. Here are directions and parking information for the NoBo Library. Our Makerspace classes often have long waitlists. We sincerely hope that you can attend, but if you are for some reason unable to, please cancel your registration ASAP so that one of the people on our waiting list can take your place in the class. You can cancel by going back to your confirmation email and following the link.
