Bountiful Pantry: High Pressure Cooking Beans and Soups with Crackers In-Person
Stock your pantry or freezer with beans, soup, and crackers and ditch the extra packaging. Learn how to use a multi-cooker and a traditional jiggle top pressure cooker and help to make a black bean tortilla soup and two pounds of white beans that freeze beautifully for a future bean salad, sauté or soup.
Another pantry item that is simple to make is crackers! Try using up leftover sourdough starter to make sourdough crackers or if you are gluten free, help make a nut and seed cracker to bake during the workshop. Samples and recipes will be provided! Besides stocking her pantry, Tracy Bellehumeur is one of the BeeChicas spreading pollinator education and gifts from the beehive around the City of Boulder. Ages 16 - Adult. Seats are limited, register below to attend.
