Learn to Hula In-Person
Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander month by learning how to Hula with Colorado Hula! Learn the basic steps and motions of two Hawaiian dances while learning about the history of this culturally significant dance.
La'ela'e, the instructor of Colorado Hula, lived in Hawai'i for 20 years and studied Hula, Chanting, Culture/History, and Hawaiian language. She was very fortunate to be able to go through a traditional graduation ceremony. La'ela'e has been teaching hula in Boulder since 2009.
