“Finding My Way” by Robin Schepper. Meet the author and book signing In-Person
Robin has written a deeply personal memoir about her determination to find her birth father. Growing up in New York City with a single mother in the 1960’s on a very limited income and a Nana who was a Madame on the Upper East Side, Robin basically raised herself and was very determined to find a safe and successful path for her adult life. Through amazing perseverance as a child she was able to secure a full scholarship to a prestigious private K-12 school while working part time jobs to help her mother with expenses. She then went onto college in California all the while searching for her birth father and to understand all secrets, lies, and shame in her life. Robin went onto have an incredibly successful career in international politics, was a successful organizer of Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign and finally went onto work for Michelle Obama in the White House. An incredible life journey that culminates in immense happiness.
