Summer of Discovery Kickoff Party at the Gunbarrel Library In-Person
The not quite open Gunbarrel Library invites you to join us for a community party in the Library parking lot.
Signup for the Summer of Discovery reading challenge, check out a book from the Library Book Bicycle, paint a rock to add to the Gunbarrel Library Rock Garden, visit the Boulder Rural Fire Rescue Fire Truck, face painting and more!
The first 100 attendees will receive a complimentary scoop of ice cream from the Sweet Cow Moo Mobile. (Additional ice cream available for purchase.)
Stop by anytime between 2 and 4 pm.

Explore summer events for all ages and sign up for the Summer of Discovery challenge! Track your reading and activities using the Beanstack app or pick up a paper log at any library location. Don’t forget to collect your prizes by August 14, 2025.
