The Omni Art Experience: A Unique Presentation of Art, Music, and Conciousness In-Person

The Canyon Theater at the Boulder Public Library will host a free public event, The Omni Art Experience, featuring the visionary work of artist Jeffrey Milburn. Milburn returns to his home in Boulder to share his 40 year journey in the Omni Art Movement which he founded in 1981. As a graduate of Boulder High School and The University of Colorado, he developed his multidisciplinary approach to art. Milburn was profoundly influenced by Boulder's unique progressive culture in the 1960’s which was reflected in his work.

Ed Sanders, President of the OG Foundation in Los Angeles will introduce Milburn and present excerpts from his ebook, The Art of Ideas, which examines the historical roots of the Omni Art Movement that includes Kandinsky, Jackson Pollock and Yoko Ono.

Milburn, known as The Oracle of Omni, will speak about his journey from Boulder to New York where he connected with Andy Warhol at the pinnacle of the Pop Art Movement.

In addition to discussing the evolution of his multidisciplinary approach to art, Milburn will perform selections of his original compositions and screen the short documentary, Jeffrey Milburn - The Warhol Years. The film investigates the death of Pop Art and the rise of the Omni Art Movement in the late 1980s. The event will also feature a piece from his one-man museum installation The Universalist Group. Milburn will tell the story of how The Omni Art Salon began in 2005, the first podcast art salon of its kind became a global conversational platform for thought leaders in art, science, politics, and consciousness. The Omni Art Salon to date has produced over 300 episodes with followers in more than 190 countries.

The event will conclude with a Q&A session. Audience members will be able to ask questions directly of Milburn and Sanders.

This event is organized by a community partner and hosted by the Boulder Public Library.
