Live Movie Review - The Fisher King In-Person
Doors open at 6pm. This jazzed up screening starts with live music, DJ, or other performance for ~20-30m, then your host will give an introduction to the movie, actors, and director for ~10m, as the movie plays it will be stopped from time to time for group discussion. We'll play some games and do some trivia at intermission.
Tonight is "The Fisher King;" A former radio DJ, suicidally despondent because of a terrible mistake he made, finds redemption in helping a deranged homeless man who was an unwitting victim of that mistake. (1991) 2h 17m, R
