Aging Artfully: Indigo Dye and Shibori Resist In-Person
For people ages 60+. Create bold shibori patterned kitchen towels using natural indigo dye. Plant-based indigo creates a beautiful blue using a method like no other dye process. It is one of the oldest dyes used by many cultures around the world. Shibori is a resist technique originating in Japan. Come experience the magic of both amazing processes.
Optional: bring a stained or tired light colored, natural fiber garment (cotton or linen) to refresh with indigo dye.
