Looming Legends: Tapestry Workshop Celebrating Queer History Month at Carnegie Library for Local History In-Person
Presented by Steven Frost at Carnegie Library for Local History
Inspired by Queer History Month (October), this 3-hour workshop will guide participants in using mini-tapestry looms to create abstract and/or representational portraits of famous queer figures. With a nod to local history, the workshop will include a brief lecture on 2SLGBTQIA+ history in the area. Participants will have access to a wide range of materials and will learn how to draft and create images using simple laser-cut tapestry looms. Age 14 +
