STUDIO 24: Spinning 101 In-Person
Learn the age old craft of spinning yarn! In this class you will learn the basics of transforming wool into beautiful, hand-spun yarn using a drop spindle or spinning wheel. Perfect for beginners, this hands-on class will guide you through techniques and tips while introducing you to the meditative process of spinning yarn. No experience necessary!
Welcome to our first Maker in Residence program at Studio 24! We are pleased to partner with local artists Heather Schulte and Steven Frost: our Maker’s in Residence for our Fiber Arts focused studio. During our 3-month Fiber Studio, we invite patrons to take a deep dive into all things Fiber with workshops, classes, and drop-in activities centering skills in sewing, weaving, spinning, needlework, and beyond!
