The next iteration of our Thursday night film screenings; come to the library and see some of the best made, edge-of-your-seat action films by diverse and distinctive voices. You’ve heard of “Elevated Horror,” well get ready for “Elevated Action!”
Tonight is "Widows," the incredible collaboration between director Steve McQueen (Oscar winner of "12 Years a Slave") and writer Gillian Flynn (author of "Gone Girl," and "Sharp Objects").
Light snacks and drinks will be complimentary. In celebration of these great creators, if you show theater staff that you've checked out (or reserved) a book by a woman or person of color, you'll earn a chance to win great library prizes at the screening!
