CANCELED: STUDIO 24: Alterations In-Person
Do you find yourself wishing you knew how to alter your own clothes? In this class you will practice the following basic alterations on a piece of muslin: side seams, darts, hand and machine hems. Students will also learn and practice specific fitting techniques to achieve their desired silhouettes in their wardrobe. Sewing 101 or equivalent experience preferred!
Boulder Public Library presents Fiber Studio in STUDIO 24! During this 3-month focus (October-December), we invite patrons to take a deep dive into all things fiber with workshops, classes, and drop-in activities featuring sewing, weaving, spinning, needlework, and beyond! Workshops will be led by our Makers in Residence (Heather Schulte and Steven Frost) as well as many community partners.
