Destination Freedom: Black Radio Days Live Radio Play and Broadcast In-Person
KGNU and No Credits Productions present "The Voice of the Spirit is Clear," a radio play from the Destination Freedom: Radio Days series, where poignant narratives from the African-American community come to life.
Join us at 5:00 for a reception in the lobby of the Canyon Theater ahead of the 6:30 broadcast.
"The Voice of the Spirit is Clear"" program description: Living on the streets Lashawn Hughes a young girl dim of sight and hard of hearing, she is homeless, and hopeless. Then that quiet voice her soul became stronger, louder, leading her spirit true and powerful. Now, all can see her, her strength, her mind, and her heart. The voice of the spirit is clear. This production is for mature audiences and contains content related to sexual abuse.
