Slay the Dragon Screening and Video Messages to City Council In-Person
A secretive, high-tech gerrymandering initiative launched 10 years ago threatens to undermine our democracy. Slay the Dragon follows everyday people as they fight to make their voices matter. Run time: 101 minutes.
After the screening, you're invited to share what is most important to you in a 1 minute or less video, audio recording or audio only recording that will be shared with Boulder City Council to help inform their term as representatives for the people of Boulder. You may also opt in to share these recordings with Carnegie Library as part of a special archival project.
Leading up to the election, the Boulder Public Library invites all community members to rediscover the history and importance of voting in our country through our fall Democracy Series. From interactive storytimes to insightful workshops, this engaging series will foster community connections as we navigate this election year together.
