Curious about what plants will come back year after year or what plants grow well together? This class offers an exploration of the principles and practices of integrating perennial food crops and companion plants to create resilient and productive food gardens. Participants will discover the diverse array of perennial edibles, from fruits and nuts to herbs and vegetables, and companion planting: the strategic pairing of plants to enhance growth, deter pests, and improve overall garden health.
