Carnegie Library History Day Open House: Interviews as a Primary Source Presentation In-Person
Learn about archives and how to find primary sources at the Carnegie Library for Local History. This is an open-house event! Drop in any time between 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. All students and educators are welcome. This is a great opportunity for those working on National History Day projects!
All teen history enthusiasts and teachers are welcome to attend and do not need to be participating in NHD.
SPECIAL PRESENTATION AT 5:00 p.m. Learn how to create your own primary sources by conducting interviews with people who have firsthand knowledge.
Drop in to learn about:
- Archives and how to access primary sources
- How to conduct and use an interview as a primary source
- Local history topic ideas for your National History Day project
- Representation and diversity in archives
