Posada Printmaking – The Art of Protest In-Person
Jose Guadalupe Posada, creator of the iconic Dia de los Muertos skeletons, was a shrewd social critic who used satirical imagery and humor to spark protest and social change. Learn about this important Mexican artist and his use of art as a subtle tool of resistance, then use printmaking techniques to create your own protest print, and write a satirical poem to accompany it. Hosted by Museo de las Americas.
