MainStage Concert: Tombeau: Lost Voices of World War 1 In-Person
Josh Halpern brings his trio to Boulder for a program telling a story of the lives lost to the violence of war. Framed by works by Maurice Ravel, this concert will showcase compositions by composers such as William Baines, Albéric Magnard, and Georges Antoine––whose unique musical voices were silenced by World War I. Nathan Meltzer performs on the “Ames, Totenberg” Antonio Stradivari violin (Cremona 1734) generously on long-term loan from Rare Violins In Consortium, Artists and Benefactors Collaborative. Reserve your free ticket at culturalcaravan.org
This program is produced by the Boulder Library Foundation and is sponsored by the Boulder Public Library, we hope you enjoy!
