Good Bad Public Art Show In-Person
A fun and fast-paced program to get a pulse on our community's expectations of public art. What makes a piece of public art good? Or bad? And whose opinion matters when it comes to what works for art in public places? A panel of experts will be at the center of a fast-paced conversation as we look at slides of murals and public art from around the country. Audience members will be able to participate in a live voting process using real-time polling clickers!
Panelists include Leah Brenner Clack of And Art Space (http://www.and-art.space/), Kecia Benvenuto of madelife (https://madelife.com/), muralist Pedro Barrios, Rudi Cerri of Denver Public Art, and artist Chandler Romeo (http://chandlerromeo.com/). This talented group of local experts will help propel an engaging conversation about what makes a piece of public art good or bad for our community.
Join in on the fun, get to know your local public art experts, and let your voice be heard! Please RSVP by Monday, July 17, 2017 to rsvp@boulderlibrary.org
