Musical Jewelry Workshop

Jewelry doesn’t have to be designed just for looks. It can also be designed to make sound! In this workshop we will assemble our own musical jewelry, building percussive pieces with laser-cut acrylic, bells, chimes, and other jewelry findings. We will learn some basic jewelry techniques, making pieces that fit our personalities. We’ll then join other participants in a short collaborative music-inspired jewelry performance. After the workshop we will get to take our creations home.

Appropriate for ages 12 and up. Space is limited, please register to confirm your spot!

This is a hands-on workshop with Maker-in-Residence Nathan Hall.

All attendees must fill out our Acknowledgement of Risk and Release prior to use of makerspace.
