Cosmology and Modern Physics In-Person

Our DVD section meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays at 6pm. We watch and discuss two half-hour lectures at the Wednesday meetings. The DVD lectures consider physical cosmology (not philosophy),including the big bang, expansion of the universe, gravity, dark matter, and dark energy. We meet on third Mondays at 6 p.m. as well to discuss books or papers relevant to cosmology and modern physics.
